Role Description:

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Inside Sales Representative to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate about sales and eager to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment. As the primary internal point of contact for our external sales team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless communication and coordination across departments.

In this role, you will support customers by processing orders, preparing parts quotes, and following up on order status. You’ll also collaborate closely with various internal teams—including production, logistics, and finance —to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of customer needs. Your ability to manage details, communicate clearly, and stay organized will be essential to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary internal liaison for the outside sales team, ensuring seamless coordination across departments
  • Respond promptly to inbound sales inquiries via phone, email, website, and walk-in traffic
  • Process parts sales for walk-in customers and provide product support as needed
  • Enter and manage customer orders accurately in the ERP system
  • Prepare and follow up on quotes, parts requests, and order confirmations
  • Qualify and direct incoming leads to the appropriate sales channels or representatives
  • Maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers through timely communication and support
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including production, logistics, and customer service—to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment
  • Keep CRM and sales records up to date with customer interactions and order details
  • Assist with lead generation and business development initiatives
  • Stay informed on product offerings, pricing, and market trends
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and customer experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and proactive in problem-solving
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or order processing is an asset
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and CRM tools is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of greenhouses, agriculture, or horticulture is a plus
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams alike
