Reporting into the AMO Site Leadership, the Industrialization - Project Manager, AMO will be responsible for developing and executing facility and operations development project plans aligned with company strategies related to Aircraft Maintenance, repair, overhaul and delivery.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Development, coordination and execution of transformative projects linked to improved operational efficiencies and Customer Experiences
- Management of trades and key stakeholders for the development of site layouts, services and construction projects.
- Development of AMO work cell design and plant layout
- Coordination of projects aligned to company MRO capabilities and strategies (Make vs Buy) including business cases
- Project governance and oversight
- Technical post secondary degree
- 5+ years of Aerospace work experience in an Engineering/Methods/Manufacturing Environment
- In depth technical knowledge of Aerospace Manufacturing Systems, Aerospace Engineering Systems and the aircraft
- Experience managing construction projects and trades.
- Experience in leading project teams and possess strong project management skills
- Experience in the identification and implementation of New Manufacturing Technologies
- Knowledge and experience with Lean concepts with a spirit for continuous improvement
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft engineering drawings
- Ability to communicate well orally and in writing
- Ability to manage and act on multiple projects and priorities at one time.
