Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently hiring all levels of Industrial Instrumentation Technicians for our Provost shop. This is a local maintenance job offering a Monday to Friday work shift.
Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term industrial projects with well-established and reputable clients
Positions being hired for:
- Instrumentation Journeyman
- Instrumentation Apprentice (1st, 2nd, 3or, or 4th year)
Requirements:
- Journeyman Instrument certificate, OR
- Registered Instrumentation Apprentice (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year),
- Previous instrumentation maintenance experience working within the Industrial Oil & Gas sector is an asset
- Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive and Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), CSTS 2020 and Driving & Journey Management certificates
- Must have a flexible work schedule - shift work, overtime, weekends, and travel
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must live within commuting distance of Provost, or be willing to permanently relocate to the immediate area
