Summary
We are seeking an experienced Implementation Specialist to join our Financial Engineering team, specifically focused on Portfolio Management and Trading projects. In this role, you will serve as the primary client liaison responsible for onboarding, integration, delivery, go-to-market, and post-launch success. Your expertise in trading workflows, portfolio management, order management systems, and pre-trade compliance will be critical to ensuring successful client adoption and long-term satisfaction. As a client liaison you will develop strong partnerships, collect requirements, and work with the product and development teams to design and deliver functionality focused on data that will enable wealth advisors to elevate their portfolio and thrive in a changing wealth management landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Master and demonstrate deep knowledge of the d1g1t trading, order management, and portfolio management modules of the d1g1t product suite.
- Act as a trusted advisor to investment professionals and consulting teams, providing expertise on managed account programs (SMA/UMA), mutual fund wrap programs, and related trading workflows.
- Manage customer relationships from the sales handoff through successful implementation and beyond.
- Independently resolve complex technical and business issues related to trading operations and order management.
- Lead implementation calls and training sessions tailored to client-specific trading workflows and goals.
- Maintain strategic implementation roadmaps, ensuring timely achievement of trading milestones.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, roadblocks, and delays.
- Translate client workflows and business requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable use cases.
- Drive product adoption by effectively communicating features, integrations, and optimizations specific to trading.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to launch, position, and scale new client implementations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and training resources.
- Continuously refine and enhance implementation processes based on client feedback and internal insights.
- Assist sales teams during pre-sales by performing product demonstrations, answering technical questions, and supporting proof-of-concept engagements.

Qualifications Required
- 2+ years experience supporting or implementing trading, order management, or portfolio management solutions within wealth management firms or software providers, coupled with a Post Secondary Degree (math, quantitative finance, computer science, engineering - preferred).
- Exceptional communication, analytical problem-solving skills, and logical thinking.
- Strong knowledge of wealth management industry practices, including asset allocation, model management, portfolio construction, drift monitoring, and tax optimization.
- Demonstrated project management capabilities, adept at managing multiple concurrent trading projects.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a hybrid/remote work environment.
Preferred
- Experience managing investment professionals and consulting teams.
- Experience with FIX protocol.
- Experience with managed account programs (SMA/UMA), mutual fund and discretionary advisory programs.
- Proven technical skills, including basic SQL and familiarity with relational databases is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (Jira, Asana, Notion).
- Experience conducting virtual and on-site client engagements, training, and support sessions.
- Experience mentoring and developing team members.
- Proficiency in French is an asset.
