Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and creative Ice Cream Cake Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious frozen treats. As our Ice Cream Cake Artist, you’ll design and decorate beautiful custom ice cream cakes. And when you’re not making cake magic, you’ll help scoop, serve, and spread smiles at the front counter.
Duties
- Design, decorate, and assemble ice cream cakes for custom orders and in-store display
- Collaborate with customers on cake designs for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions
- Layer, frost, pipe, and embellish cakes with precision and creativity
- Keep cake production area clean, organized, and up to health & safety standards
- Track and manage cake supplies and inventory
- Scoop and serve ice cream, gelato, and other treats with care and flair
- Greet customers, take orders, and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the front counter, dining area, and service stations
- Restock toppings, cones, and supplies as needed
- Provide friendly, helpful service and keep the vibe upbeat and welcoming
Requirements
- Ice cream cake decorating experience is needed
- Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Friendly, team-first attitude with good communication skills
- Must be comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
