Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to high standards of cleanliness and an understanding of hospitality principles.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all spaces are spotless and well-maintained.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as needed to enhance guest comfort.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas, including toiletries, cleaning products, and linens.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to maintain efficient workflow and meet cleanliness standards.
- Provide exceptional service to guests by responding promptly to requests for additional items or assistance.
Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in both residential and industrial settings.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality services.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.30 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
