Home Supervisor (Team Lead)
Role and Responsibilities
The Home Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations of the home. Leading a small team of personal support workers supporting a young man with a developmental disability living in his own home. You are responsible for attending to hiring, training, supervising and leading a team of dedicated associates and staffing supports.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in the human service, health care field or degree in related discipline. Experience working in the adult development disability field and a group home setting is an asset. At least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory leadership role Valid First Aid, C.P.I. or Safe Management and a vulnerable sector screening. A valid driver license with a good driving record.
Additional Notes
The incumbent will need to have a valid driving license. There will be some onsite and off-site responsibilities, part of the position requires travel, and access to a reliable vehicle. Rate of pay will be reviewed after six months. None Smoking Household.
