As a trusted pharmacy and health care provider across Ontario, we are expanding our Home Health Care division and looking for a passionate, sales-driven Home Health Care Representative to help us reach and support more clients in the community. Weekend Availability is a MUST.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Client Acquisition
- Promote home health care products and services (e.g., mobility aids, wound care, incontinence supplies, home safety products)
- Conduct in-home and in-store consultations with prospective clients and caregivers
- Generate leads through physician offices, retirement communities, hospitals, and community partners
- Meet and exceed sales targets and client growth metrics
- Community Engagement
- Attend community events, senior expos, and health fairs as a Sunshine Drugs representative
- Establish relationships with health care professionals, discharge planners, and social workers
- Educate local care providers and organizations about our home health offerings
- Client Relationship Management
- Ensure high client satisfaction through regular follow-up and service support
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling relevant products and services
- Act as a liaison between clients and pharmacy teams to ensure seamless service
- Product Knowledge & Documentation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of home health care products and equipment
- Assist with insurance documentation, vendor forms, and government funding applications (e.g. ADP, ODSP)
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in CRM systems
Qualifications
- Experience in home health care, medical sales, pharmacy, or related field (preferred)
- Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of Ontario’s health system and third-party funding programs (ADP, ODSP, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
