Carriage Ridge Resort is currently growing and we are looking for an experienced Guest Services Associate to join the team. The Guest Services Associate will be responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing outstanding guest service during their stay, and settling the guest's account upon completion of their stay. The Guest Services Associate must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. The Guest Services Associate must have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
Job Duties
- Greets guests and answer any questions or inquiries from guests
- Performs check-ins and checkouts
- Issues room keys & pamphlets
- Handles all guest requests in an expedient and professional manner
- Operates switchboard & direct calls accordingly
- Responsible for cash flow
- Arranges reservations or special requests for guests
- Reviews special service requests for arrivals and pre assign units as necessary
- Collects payment and issues invoices
- Ensures front desk is stocked with any items guests may require
- Maintains cleanliness of the workspace
- Reports any accident or injuries to Resort Management
- Provides information to staff and/or clients about special activities
- Observes and reports any security issues to the Resort Manager
- Administers and manages, packages, mail, courier services, and other correspondence.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience in front desk operations within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems
- Ability to provide exceptional guest services and support
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
