Major Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of building grounds to ensure curbside appearance meets contract requirements and Edon’s standards
- Perform snow removal and landscaping tasks such as sweeping, blowing, shoveling, mowing, and trimming
- Cut and water grass, inspecting for signs of disease or insect damage
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, bulbs, grass, and other greenery
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
- Complete general grounds maintenance tasks and respond to emergencies
- Represent Edon in a professional manner as a front-line contact with clients, tenants, and subcontractors
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, initiative, and teamwork in interactions with co-workers and clients
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous landscaping or maintenance experience considered an asset
- Good command of the English language (written and verbal)
- Strong customer care and communication skills
- Ability to operate small power equipment used in landscape maintenance
