SSFS grocery shopper/driver is responsible for shopping for groceries, delivering groceries and then accepting varying forms of payment. The shopper will be responsible for initial purchase of groceries and then will be reimbursed. The shopper/driver will do their utmost to keep customers satisfied by being friendly, courteous, thorough, and on time. The shopper/driver models outstanding leadership, interpersonal skills, teamwork, superior judgment, decision making and commitment to the success of the SSFS team..
Duties:
- Attention to detail and client preferences.
- Provide client with a timely and positive delivery experience to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Ensure high level of client service for delivery orders, adherence to route schedules, cleanliness, food safety, scheduling, and health and safety guidelines.
- Operate their vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
Qualifications:
- Maintain delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and road worthiness.
- Retain possession of a valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Have a great sense of humor, be charismatic, and you know how to have fun.
- Detail orientated
- Ability to understand and be understood in English
- Good Interpersonal Skills: friendly, outgoing, courteous, patient
- Ability to work independently.
- Capacity to maintain confidentiality.
- Able to communicate in a clear and effective manner.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- The ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
