Position Summary
Are you recently out of college and looking to start your career in a technical and
customer focused environment? Ridder Canada is looking for a Greenhouse Helpdesk
Coordinator to join our team in Leamington. In this role, you will be the first point
of contact for incoming technical questions from customers, dealers, and
partners. You will support our service team with coordination and follow-up and
grow your skills to eventually become a Service Technician.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, helping
customers, and learning about technical systems in the greenhouse industry.
Your responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to incoming service calls, emails, and other technical inquiries.
- Document service requests and assign them to the appropriate technician.
- Track progress, follow up on open cases, and communicate with customers.
- Help with scheduling service visits and preparing documentation.
- Learn about Ridder’s automation and (climate) systems for greenhouses.
- Support logistics for service parts, returns, and warranty cases.
- Work closely with the service and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
What we are looking for:
- Recent college or technical school graduate (engineering, agriculture, IT or similar field preferred).
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Curious, eager to learn, and interested in technical systems.
- Comfortable using email, phone, and computer tools (CRM, Office 365, TopDesk?).
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
- Based in or near Leamington, ON.
- Full-time availability and interest in growing into a service technician role over time.
