Agricultural Construction Crew Member
Job Description:
We are looking for friendly, motivated individuals to join our team. This position will run until mid December with the opportunity to become fulltime and rejoin again in March. We work with local Ontario farmers to construct grain systems for food and biofuel production. As a crew member, you will be responsible for assisting in the construction of these specialized systems, and work closely with the project manager and other team members to ensure successful project completion.
This position will be hourly based pay plus x1.5 overtime over 44 hours. With weekends off and paid stat holidays. Additionally employees will be paid during transportation to and from job sites while in a company vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of grain handling and storage equipment, such as grain bins, conveyors, and elevators.
- Work with a team to erect and construct agricultural buildings for food, and biofuel production
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina and strength to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
