Con Site Construction is currently hiring Experienced Grader Operators

Key Responsibilities:

Proper machine start-up and shutdown knowledge/practices which are essential to proper grading maintenance and operation.
Knowledge and experience for the proper setup, operation, maintenance, and automatic grade control systems.
Operate grader and control material delivery to and placement by the grader to mitigate mix segregation and support personnel to maintain required thickness and smoothness requirements.
Ability to discuss and plan daily project grading procedures/goals with fellow personnel to maximize productivity and workmanship.

Education, Training and Certifications

Must have a valid Class 5 (or better) driver’s license with clean drivers abstract.
Must have reliable transportation
2-5 years of experience operating a Grader

Skills

Knowledge of all grading equipment and the paving/concrete process that follows.
Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.

Overtime as required.
Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust, grease, fumes, odors, asphalt, and toxic and flammable substances.
Required to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting, bending, and strenuous movements.
Use of personal protection equipment is required.
Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear required when working outdoors.
Must be able to work outdoors in areas that are dusty and/or dirty.
Must comply with all company policies.
