Position Summary
As a Golf Shop Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for members and guests by supervising daily golf shop operations. You will support the Head Golf Professional in training, coaching, and mentoring the golf shop team while ensuring that service standards, merchandising, and operational goals are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies to enhance the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and train golf shop staff, fostering a high-performance, guest-focused team.
- Oversee merchandising and visual displays, ensuring the golf shop is well-stocked, clean, and inviting.
- Assist guests with tee time bookings, retail purchases, and rental equipment, providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Manage inventory control, track stock levels, conduct inventory counts, and coordinate orders with the Head Golf Professional.
- Ensure accurate processing of transactions, including cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) system management.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism, escalating when necessary.
- Work closely with the golf operations team to align shop activities with tournaments, events, and resort initiatives.
- Assist with seasonal promotions and special events to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in the shop and surrounding areas.
Requirements
- Driver's license required.
- Eligible to work in Canada full-time.
- Lift up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, and 20lbs constantly
- Follow all Health and Safety procedures
- Previous experience in retail, golf operations, or hospitality preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Passion for exceptional guest service and the golf industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions.
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions
Duration: This is a Full-Time seasonal position, April to October. Overtime during busy periods may be required.
