Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glazier with 2 plus or more years to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glass installation and repair, with the ability to read schematics and blueprints. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and a commitment to safety while working on various residential and commercial projects. As a Glazier, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the aesthetics and functionality of buildings through expert glasswork.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace glass products in residential and commercial settings, including windows, doors, showers, and mirrors.
- Shower Glass installation experience a must
- Install Commercial aluminum storefronts and windows
- Install Hollow Metal doors an asset
- Install door closers and door hardware both residential and commercial.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine specifications for glass installation.
- Measure and cut glass to size using hand tools and equipment.
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weatherproofing of installations.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals including carpenters, drywall installers, and tile layers to complete projects efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on-site.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Experience
- Proven experience in glass installation or related construction fields.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Strong understanding of construction principles including drywall installation, tile laying, and basic carpentry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot installation issues on-site.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods during installations.
- Travel when required.
- Provided company vehicle with tools for installation.
- Valid Class G license and Insurable.
