Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. As a General Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various health conditions, promoting wellness, and ensuring a high standard of patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in acute care and pediatrics, as well as proficiency in electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and medical histories to diagnose health issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications and manage pain effectively for patients.
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner).
- Engage in research activities to stay updated on the latest medical practices and advancements.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient outcomes and treatment efficacy.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with a valid medical license.
- Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.
- Strong background in acute care and pediatrics is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in medication administration and pain management techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
