JOB TITLE: Skilled Labourer – Full Time
LOCATION: Oliver, BC

Nehring Containers - is looking for a Skilled Carpenter/Labourer to fill a full time position at its Oliver BC facility starting as soon as possible.
Working under the supervision of the yard foreman, the Skilled Carpenter/Labourer is responsible for supporting the yard foreman in the daily yard operations. Conditions will include working outdoors, general labour, container modifications, and occasional heavy lifting. Shift hours are 7:00am-3:30pm Monday through Friday.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid driver’s license
- 1-3 years of work experience
- Class 3 an asset
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Modification of containers
- Experience using power tools: Grinder, Cut off saw, Circular saw, Drill, Chain saw
- Decal new inventory
- Framing
- Clean & arrange pressure washing of units
- Maintain the yard, tools & equipment in an orderly & clean manner
- Provide excellent service to customers, drivers & suppliers
- Assist the yard foreman in other duties as required
