My name is Devon, I run Forever Party Rentals. Right now I am trying to build up this business, we are currently in the scaling phase of this party rental company.
We assist in creating events such as parties, celebrations and ceremonies by providing chairs, tables and tents - this can involve setup, and take down for the events.
My goal is to hire 1-2 employees by the end of the year, but for now we are looking to hire 1-2 contractors. Contractors will be paid per job which may include setting up tents, tables or chairs for the business. Or perhaps cleaning them etc. There are odd jobs that the company needs done, for the most part it's a very simple position but it involves being proactive and lots of adaptability.
The starting hourly wage is $22.50, and this has the potential to be bumped up as the business continues to grow and the more responsibilities you take on.
Though our business is primarily summer related, we will be launching a winter division which allow employees and contractors to have an extremely stable job.
We define summer as: June/July/August/September; Winter as late October/November/December/January. As an employee you would also be given paid time off during our off season.
You will qualify for this job if:
- You can show up on time
- Have a driver's license
- Communicate well in English
- Comfortable lifting 50+lbs routinely
