Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer to join our team for a temporary, full time position . In this role, you will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team and independantly when necessary.
The selected person must have a Valid Alberta drivers license with no demerits and their own, reliable transportation. They must speak, read and write fluent English, have steel toe boots, coveralls and gloves and their own cell phone.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites
- Load and unload materials and equipment
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow instructions from supervisors and senior workers
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform physical labor as required, including lifting heavy objects
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is preferred
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow directions accurately and efficiently
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Willingness to learn new skills and techniques
