WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Advice Centre & Branch Technology (ACBT) provides industry leading Contact Centre capabilities to our business partners, bringing the Omni-Channel client experience to life. This team delivers cutting edge technology solutions for a rapidly-changing Contact Centre landscape.
As a Risk and Governance Lead for the GenAI team, you will provide sound risk advisory and compliance services, to help navigate the ever-evolving risk landscape for Gen AI initiatives within Advice Centre. The role will collaborate, develop, lead, communicate and execute activities to ensure all Risk artifacts and any associated findings are managed. This role will also require you to act as a key conduit between IT, Business and Risk partners and stakeholders.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Model Risk, Governance and Compliance Management: Ensure all Advice Centre Gen AI use cases meet regulatory requirements and have any risk findings closed within the allotted remediation timeframes.
Model Performance Framework: Work with business to establish key model performance metrics for measure/monitor and establish an end-to-end dashboard that shows model performance and trends on an ongoing basis.
Risk Management: Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key risk partners including Enterprise Model Risk Management (EMRM) team to drive efficiencies and streamline the overall model certification processes for Gen AI projects within Advice Centre.
Risk Documentation and Remediation: Assist the teams through Risk documentation for remediation and acceptance following Enterprise best practices while maintaining an overall compliance estate as per the defined guidelines.
Risk Monitoring and Automation: Partner with stakeholders to implement control testing/monitoring automation where possible, driving efficiencies for coverage/assurance.
Centralized Dashboard: Help develop and build a centralized Model Accuracy Dashboard for all GenAI use cases within Advice Centre.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
5+ years of information security and information risk experience.
Strong ability to perform IT risk assessments following a defined Risk Management framework, standards, policies, and industry best practices.
Creative problem-solving and analytical skills with the proven ability to exercise flexibility and judgment while partnering with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
Ability to challenge current Risk and Governance landscape, looking to increase efficiencies and drive changes on existing processes.
Strong analytical, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
Ability to manage, oversee and guide cross-functional team members from IT and Business
Nice-to-have:
Knowledge of RBC’s Enterprise Model Risk Policies and Standards
Safe AI adoption advocacy and best practices
Strong communication skills and ability to explain highly technical information to drive/influence decisions across stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across technical and executive stakeholders Program Management and Agile delivery experience
