FURNITURE ASSEMBLY SPECIALIST

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Furniture Assembly Specialist to join our team for an exciting retail project in Burlington, Ontario from July 21st to August 8th, 2025, with the potential to extend!

If you enjoy assembling furniture and working in a fast-paced retail environment, this is the role for you!


What we offer:

  • Short Term Opportunity - July 21st to August 8th, 2025
  • Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
  • Competitive Pay - $22/hour

Responsibilities:


  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturer instructions
  • Assemble a variety of furniture pieces using basic hand tools
  • Inspect parts and components for damage or defects before and after assembly
  • Ensure all assembled furniture meets quality and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist with placing furniture on the sales floor as directed
  • Coordinate with site management to address and resolve any concerns

Requirements:

  • Experience assembling flat pack furniture would be an asset
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Capable of standing, bending, lifting and stretching for extended periods.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a smart phone (required for time validation).
  • Required to wear steel-toed shoes/boots.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a team environment.
