We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic, individual to work as a front end loader operator. You will work at various aggregate pit locations throughout Southern Alberta. Our aggregate crew is extremely busy and we are looking for an experienced, reliable loader operator to join our team.
SUMMARY
Reporting to the Truck Push and Management, the operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the loader, machinery, and equipment on site.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment including routine cleaning to ensure safe continuous operation of all equipment on site .
- Operation of loader as instructed in a safe and efficient manner with potential to help with other heavy construction equipment (excavator/skid steer/rock truck).
REQUIREMENTS/EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 3 years of experience running front end loaders - preference given to those who have loaded aggregate products.
- Must be physically able to lift and carry at least 50 kg on a regular basis.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must be physically fit and able to work 10-12 hour shifts.
- Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust, debris, and other airborne particles.
- Willing to work out of town and in remote locations as required.
- Must be able to speak, write, and read English fluently.
