Metal Building System Erector
Responsibilities:
Run a crew of 7 guys around western Canada installing metal buildings
Erecting Pre-Engineered buildings with telehandlers and cranes, Complete install of Girts and Purlins, Install secondary framing, Install wall and roof panels.
Duties/ responsibilities
Comfortable working at heights
Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
Measure, cut and install z-bar sub-girts using hand and power tools to wall surfaces
Metal roof systems i.e.) standing seam, IMP
Install sheet metal flashings.
Install Insulated metal panel systems
Must be punctual, hardworking and safety orientated
Pay careful attention to detail and proper installation
Abide by OH&S regulations.
Maintain a clean construction site.
Review safety policies and procedures.
Ensure safety tickets are up to date.
Skills & Knowledge
The ability to operate power tools
Read and interpret blueprints.
The ability to operate equipment including skid steer, telehandler, man lifts
Careful attention to detail and proper installation.
The ability to work at heights
Must have certificates:
CSTS
ALL OTHER TICKETS AND CERTIFICATED CONSIDERED AN ASSET- Will Certify the right candadates.

Must own safety steel toed boots proper winter working attire.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00-$45.00 per hour
