Thrive Freeze Dry, a rapidly growing freeze-dried manufacturing company is recruiting for experienced Forklift Operator/Warehouse Worker for our locations in Langley BC reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor. This opportunity is for the day shift primarily responsible for loading/unloading trucks, preparing and shipping products, receiving and processing incoming goods, and maintaining the warehouse inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating material handling equipment including forklift, etc.
- Receiving, processing, and inspecting incoming materials within conformances
- Maintaining records in Excel and WMS accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinating outgoing shipments with all departments to ensure sales adherence.
- Organizing and maintaining shipments between internal plants and warehouses
- Validating documentation to ensure the correct product is shipped or received at the plants/warehouses
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Forklift Certificate for Class 1, 4, and 5 is a must
- Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial goods environment or raw material environment.
- Basic computer literacy, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams.
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work
Physical Environment:
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. regularly and perform tasks requiring kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting.
- Comfortable working in temperature-controlled, refrigerated, or chilled environments.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
