The warehouse personnel is responsible for verifying completed shipping work orders or inbound receipts. In addition, candidate must be able to operate a Forklift along with minimal labor lifting up to 50 lbs as needed. In this position, the personnel will interface with multiple employees from the Operations and Customer Service Teams as well as agents and their drivers. This person will support and back-up the dispatcher as needed.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensures the integrity and accuracy of the freight received
- Initiates correct paperwork required by customers work orders.
- Understands and follows the daily scheduling process for drivers arriving
- Identifies the correct freight required by the customer and specific work orders.
- Perform quality checks during unloading and loading
- Works effectively with the team to ensure that downtime is minimized
Qualifications
- Be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English Language.
- Be able to perform basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to ensure proper counts and verification of loaded product.
- Ability to operate a forklift and a forklift certification is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible and extended work hours.
- Good customer service, decision making, and problem solving skills.
