Job Summary
We are seeking a experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Food Server to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs. A solid foundation in wine expertise is required.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. Key responsibilities include assisting with food service operations, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain safety and quality.
- Handle cash transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including but not limited to dining spaces and bar.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant setting is required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills is essential.
- Experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
