Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of food and beverage services within our establishment. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations in both a concession, lounge and kitchen operations. Managing and scheduling staff, maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality. You will exceed all safety and training protocols and be responsible for ordering and managing inventory and costing of inventory to ensure reasonable return on product. You will be responsible for generating activities within the lounge to increase patronage and revenues. As well you will work directly with the Events Coordinator. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the food and liquor service industry, and a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including the Social Lounge, Frankie’s Concession, bar service, banquet services, tradeshow and convention service, and meeting room service.
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of food and beverage staff, ensuring high levels of customer service and team performance.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets, control expenses, and ensure profitability by maximizing sales and minimizing costs.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with service teams to create innovative and cost-effective menus that meet guest expectations. Create exciting experiences to increase patronage.
- Inventory & Procurement: Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stock levels, and supplier relationships, ensuring consistent supply and quality of products.
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards, including food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
- Event Coordination: Work with the events team to manage food and beverage services for banquets, conferences, and special events.
- Marketing & Promotions: Develop and execute promotions, special events, and marketing campaigns to drive revenue and attract customers.
- Performance Reporting: Monitor performance metrics, analyze customer feedback, and report to the Executive Director on key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Manager or in a similar managerial role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu development, and customer service standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems, inventory management).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
