Roofers Wanted – Solve Roofing (Victoria, BC)
We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Flat Roofer to join our team. This role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of flat and low-slope roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of working efficiently in a team environment and in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and repair flat roofing systems using various materials.
- Identify and fix leaks or damage on existing flat roofs with precision and care.
- Remove old roofing systems and prepare surfaces for new installations.
- Apply waterproofing and insulation materials as required.
- Ensure flashings, seams, and roof edges are sealed properly.
- Follow all safety protocols and use fall protection and PPE as required.
- Work collaboratively with other roofers and site supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
- Keep job sites clean and tools properly maintained.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience installing and repairing flat roofing systems.
- Familiarity with various flat roofing materials and torch-down or heat-weld installation methods.
- Ability to read and understand roofing plans and specifications.
- Strong physical condition with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in exposed environments.
- Detail-oriented with good troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license preferred.
- OSHA training or other safety certifications a plus.
