As a Finance Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing your project to improve its overall performance. You will participate in project management alongside the extended team, including the Project Director. As a key member, you will provide financial analysis and guide the project team in making the best possible decisions.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary project team to ensure optimal project performance
  • Present project issues to senior management in an executive format
  • Develop annual budgets (Cash Flow, P&L, Balance Sheet)
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis
  • Maintain a long-term vision for effective management of the project’s EAC (Estimate at Completion)
  • Ensure compliance with external audit requirements and accounting standards
  • Regular travel to Thunder Bay

Required Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in complex construction industry projects
  • Project management experience
  • Experience in project-based accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP
  • Proficiency in ODY.C
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French
  • Ability to deliver executive-level presentations

Education:


Mandatory:

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Business

  • Salary: $83,000 per year (based on a 40-hour work week)
  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
