WolfTrek is an Indigenous owned staffing company. We are seeking dedicated Field Service Representatives to join our team in British Columbia. As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for the installation of gas meters for residential and small commercial customers. You will work closely with the Field Service Leader to ensure all installations are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
o Conduct safety checks and leak tests on installed meters.
o Ensure installations comply with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
o Explain the installation process and provide necessary information to customers.
o Address customer concerns and provide solutions to any issues related to meter installation.
o Complete and submit required paperwork and reports to the Field Service Leader.
o Perform digital data entry through an electronic work order on a handheld device.
o Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
Qualifications:
o Previous experience in gas meter installation, plumbing, or a related field is an asset but not necessary.
o Excellent troubleshooting skills.
o Strong customer service skills.
o Punctuality and reliability.
o Good communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Comfortable with digital data entry and using electronic devices for work orders.
o Criminal background check required.
Training Program:
o The training will cover all aspects of gas meter installation, safety protocols, and customer service skills.
o Hands-on training and mentorship by experienced professionals.
Working Conditions:
o Some exposure to potentially hazardous conditions, such as gas leaks and confined spaces.
o Frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
o Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
