Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings: Understanding the specifications and dimensions for the project
- Measuring and marking metal pieces: Accurately preparing materials for cutting and shaping.
- Cutting and shaping metal: Using various tools and techniques to achieve the desired form and dimensions.
- Welding: Joining metal components using different welding methods (e.g., MIG, TIG, Arc).
- Assembly: Assembling fabricated parts into a complete structure or product.
- Quality control: Ensuring welds meet required standards, and arts are positioned to print.
- Maintaining equipment: Keeping welding and fabrication tools in good working order.
- Safety compliance: Following all safety procedures and regulations.
Skills:
- Technical drawing interpretation: Ability to understand and apply information from technical drawings.
- Welding expertise: Proficiency in various welding processes and techniques.
- Metal fabrication knowledge: Understanding of different metals, their properties, and fabrication methods.
- Use of hand and power tools: Skill in using tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal
