We are seeking a dedicated Straight Truck Delivery Driver to join our outstanding team. If you're a skilled driver with a passion for delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a straight truck, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
- Perform minor hook-ups and installations.
- Handle packages and equipment weighing over 60 pounds.
- Collaborate with a team, including helpers, to ensure seamless deliveries and outstanding customer service.
- Use a pump truck for dock-to-dock deliveries.
- Secure customer signatures on Bills of Lading (BOLs) and promptly submit them to the Logistics Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum Class G license (air brakes endorsement is a strong asset).
- Proven experience operating trucks, with a clean driving record (no accidents or demerit points).
- Ability to lift and handle heavy appliance and dry loads.
- Familiarity with using a pump truck.
- Ability to obtain and manage Bills of Lading (BOLs) efficiently.
- Reliable, respectful, and passionate about delivering top-tier service.
Working Hours:
- Start times vary between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM, depending on the route.
- Pick-up location: Toronto.
