The Saskatchewan Prevention Institute is seeking a full-time (1.0 FTE) Executive Assistence to begin July 10, 2025, or earlier. The position is renewable upon confirmation of funding at the end of each fiscal year (April 1).

Nature and Scope
The Executive Assistant reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and staff. The Executive Assistant represents the Prevention Institute in communication with the public, stakeholders, and staff and is required to demonstrate the values of the organization and be a leader in effective communication and teamwork.
The Executive Assistant works closely with the Accountant, Office Administrator and Financial Clerk, Executive Director, and other staff on a regular basis.
The Prevention Institute’s office is located in Saskatoon and serves all areas of the province. The Executive Assistant will be expected to work in office, 37.5 hours per week.
Accountabilities – “What” Work Should be Completed
The roles and responsibilities of the Executive Assistant may change, as directed by the Executive Director, to best meet the needs of the Prevention Institute and its programs.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Executive Assistant is specifically accountable for:
· Board support and coordination
· Funder and partner relations
· Internal and external communications
· Quality assurance and copy-editting
· Human resources
· Office administration

Qualifications
· Certificate or diploma from an accredited business college
· 3+ years of related office experience
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Outlook
· Copy editing skills, with a strong understanding of grammar, spelling, formatting, and proofreading techniques
· Strong organizational and time-management skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
· Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s License.
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
· familiarity with medical language and terminology; and
· experience in an Executive Assistant or Senior Administrator role.
Starting Salary: The starting salary range for this position begins at $45,179.00.
