Job scope is grubbing, clearing, and site cleanup for fire break
Responsibilities
- Operate bulldozers and other heavy equipment, including excavators.
- Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including lubrication and minor repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction plans effectively.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bulldozer Operator or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in operating various types of heavy equipment, including dozers, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and graders.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is a plus.
