HOUSEKEEPING/LAUNDRY AIDES
OMNI Quality Living is looking for a candidate to fill the position Environmental Services Aide at our 60 bed long term care home in St. Marys, Ontario.
Position is Part Time/Casual for Days/ Afternoons. Candidate will report to the Environmental Services Manager.
Complete secondary school education is preferred. Candidate will have demonstrated understanding of and respect for the rights of the long term care resident, knowledge of the safe and effective use of cleaning and laundry supplies and equipment, knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Infection Control and WHMIS requirements.
The Environmental Services Aide is responsible to ensure a clean, sanitary and safe home-like environment consistent with OMNI Quality Living Mission, Vision, Values.
TB Screening, Pre-Employment Medical and Vulnerable Sectors Check required upon hire.
The candidate must be available every other weekend. LTC experience not necessary but would be an asset.
