We are hiring a certified energy advisor to perform EnerGuide Home Evaluations on houses.
Scheduling & Compensation:
- approximately full time hours per week, according to demand.
- 2-4 workdays on site per week with some office work, can work from home for this
- if using a personal vehicle for work, energy advisor will be paid travel expenses at 53c / km
- if the energy advisor has their own blower door, this can be used and the energy advisor will be paid additional (rate to be discussed)
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a Program Qualified Energy Advisor
- Strong understanding of the EnerGuide Rating System materials
- Competent with HOT2000, the Report Generator, Compliance Report Calculator
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Valid BC drivers license
- Must have a reliable vehicle that can be used for on-site work
The candidate should prepare to demonstrate intricate knowledge of the EnerGuide Rating System Services materials and modelling procedures during the interview.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- perform site visits, inspections, and blower door testing, as per EnerGuide procedures (site visits may be conducted as part of a 2-person team, or solo)
- energy modelling and generating reports
- using additional energy modelling software, training to be provided
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
