Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in early childhood education and demonstrate the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves not only educating children but also fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging activities and structured lessons.
Duties
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
- Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest
- Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children's development and address any concerns.
- Provide support for children with special educational needs, ensuring inclusivity within the classroom.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working in an early childhood setting is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and effective time management abilities are essential for planning and executing lessons.
- Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial for supporting diverse learners.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with children, parents, and colleagues.
