About the Role:

The Dynatrace Analyst will leverage the full power of the Dynatrace platform to provide real-time insights into the performance of ATCO’s applications, infrastructure, and network devices. From identifying the root cause of complex issues to creating actionable dashboards that connect IT performance to business outcomes, this role’s expertise will be vital in helping ATCO’s IT team to proactively identify and solve problems before they impact our business.

The Dynatrace Analyst is expected to possess proficient knowledge of the Dynatrace platform that goes beyond basic monitoring to leverage its full potential for an organization. In this role, you’ll use your blend of technical skills, analytical abilities, and strategic knowledge to provide real-time insights and drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to understand requirements and develop effective solutions, and will make ongoing recommendations for continuous improvement, optimum utilization, and cost efficiency.


What You Get to Do:

  • Assist a team with the implementation and configuration of Dynatrace for newly added applications, infrastructure, or network devices
  • Work with a team to maintain Dynatrace, ensuring it aligns with ATCO’s business needs and technical architecture
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Dynatrace, providing guidance and support to development and operations teams
  • Assist support teams in troubleshooting performance issues, anomalies, and security threats through Dynatrace
  • Create and customize dashboards, alerts, and reports within Dynatrace to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Write advanced queries using DQL to perform custom analysis, create specific reports, and extract deep insights from the data
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Dynatrace into our CI/CD pipelines and other monitoring tools
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Dynatrace platform functionality and data collection
  • Develop and deliver training sessions to empower internal teams to effectively use Dynatrace for their specific needs
  • Analyze application, infrastructure, and network device performance using Dynatrace
  • Stay current with the latest Dynatrace features and best practices to drive continuous improvement in ATCO’s monitoring strategy
  • Perform initiative-taking health checks of customer environments to ensure usage, adoption, and growth of Dynatrace
  • Manage Dynatrace tagging, security requirements, and costs

What You Bring:

  • Post secondary education such as a certificate in Data Science, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, or related program
  • Dynatrace Certification
  • 3+ years of experience implementing and maintaining the Dynatrace platform
  • Have an innovative mindset, and a proven track record in identifying, proposing, prototyping, documenting, and overseeing the implementation of Dynatrace
  • Experience implementing Dynatrace on different cloud technologies such as OCI, Azure, and GCP
  • Proficiency in monitoring the health and performance of applications, servers, cloud platforms (OCI, Azure, GCP), and network devices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a team environment, build collaborative relationships, and negotiate with stakeholders
  • Deep knowledge of monitoring application performance, identifying bottlenecks, and analyzing code-level insights
  • Strong analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and Ansible is considered an asset
  • Experience installing One Agent on Linux, Windows, Solaris, or AIX is an asset
