The FASD Network is a community-based, provincial organization with offices in Saskatoon and Regina. The organization works to enhance the lives of individuals and families impacted by FASD.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated team member who wants to help improve the lives of individuals and families with FASD.
Main Purpose of the Job:
The purpose of this position is to provide support services and programming to individuals with FASD who access the Network’s drop-in centres.
Reports to:
This job incumbent reports to the Support Coordinators.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the FASD Network’s daily drop-in centre
- Provide direct support to individuals with FASD who attend the drop-in centre
- Plan and facilitate programming workshops to assist individuals in the development of life-skills
- Maintain drop-in centre cleanliness and replenish supplies
- Ensure individuals attending the drop-in centre have access to healthy food options
- Create and deliver daily programming for those who access.
Additional Duties
- Track attendance at the drop-in centre and programming workshops
- Contribute to board reports, annual reports and other documents as directed by the Management Team.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must have an understanding of trauma informed and harm reduction approaches to support work, addictions, and mental health.
De-escalation skills are an asset.
