POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Draw Line Set-up/Operator will set-up and operate all draw line equipment at Omex Manufacturing ULC. The Draw Line Set-up/Operator will operate the equipment safety and consistently while meeting all productivity & quality standards set forth by Omex Manufacturing ULC.
DUTIES OF THE JOB:
- Set-up and operate all draw line, and associated equipment.
- Utilize the overhead crane to stage material & coil replacement.
- Create first-off / last-off parts.
- Problem solves and/or troubleshoots process issues as they arise.
- Follow process-specific work instructions and verbal directions to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Complete quality inspections at predetermined intervals using calibrated fixtures and devices.
- Ensure only quality parts are accepted and notify supervision and quality of any quality related issues immediately.
- Complete all necessary documentation: machine safety check sheets, validation check sheets, set-up sheets, quality inspections, production reporting, etc.
- Operate the equipment safely and consistently with the company policies, rules, and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Maintain a tidy and organized area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in related role in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks repeatedly, including lifting (minimum 50lbs), grabbing, manipulating, bending, and standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Record of reliability & dependability (quality, safety & attendance).
- Analytical, mechanical thinking.
- Proficient with ShopEdge & Core Documents at an operator level.
COMPENSATION:
- Starting hourly rate: $22.49
- Upon completion of probation hourly rate: $23.58

One year hourly rate: $24.68
- Night Shift Premium - $1.50 per hr.
- Overtime pay after 40 hours
