District Overview

Kiewit Nuclear Canada. is a full-service engineering, project management, and construction provider operating. Our experience and expertise span all aspects of the nuclear-related market from carbon-free, small modular reactors to Dept of Energy science, environmental and nuclear security mission capabilities. Responsibilities

  • Maintain a document control system that meets the needs of the project.
  • Ensure all project-related documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
  • Manage the distribution and retrieval of documents, including hard copies and electronic copies.
  • Develop and maintain document control procedures and processes.
  • Ensure all documents are properly labeled and tracked.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Train project team members on document control procedures and processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper document control coordination.
  • Manage and maintain a centralized document repository.
  • Maintain a log of all project-related documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of documents to all necessary parties.
  • Communicate with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with document control procedures and processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in document control, specifically in the construction or engineering industry. Nuclear market is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of construction terminology and processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. #LI-IS1

  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
