Job Summary :
The Dispatcher for the Electrical Service plays a key role in coordinating service operations. This individual is responsible for managing client calls, planning technical interventions, coordinating field teams, and handling the administrative tasks related to the work. They act as an essential link between clients, field teams, and internal departments.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Create and issue purchase orders (PO) and work orders (WO).
- Receive and manage client service calls, including evenings and weekends on a rotating or on-call basis.
- Coordinate work schedules in collaboration with the project manager and service director.
- Plan and organize tasks related to upcoming work.
- Prepare and submit required administrative documentation (e.g., permits).
- Draft and compile inspection reports.
- Develop and update work schedules.
- Maintain constant communication with field teams to ensure efficient operations.
- Prepare and distribute work notices and disruption alerts.
- Follow up on field-level risk assessment (FLRA) forms.
- Monitor vehicle fleet condition inspections with the site team.
- Verify, enter, and validate hours worked.
- Extract hours and submit them to the director for approval.
- Validate supplier invoices in the system for client billing.
- Control product entries in the system to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and issue the final "as-built" plans.

- Proficiency in computer tools and management systems (e.g., Servicentre, MS Office Suite).
- Knowledge of the electrical sector and field service operations (an asset).
Qualifications :
- High school or college diploma (vocational or college diploma in administration, coordination, or a related field).
- Relevant experience in a similar role, ideally in a technical or electrical environment.
- Bilingualism (French/English) required.
- Occasional availability outside of normal hours (rotation or emergencies).
