Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, , utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash as needed.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored after use.
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food service operations is a plus.
- Experience in hospitality or hotel settings can be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
