We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Duties
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment efficiently.
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure they are functioning properly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and food preparation areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support cooks and chefs.
- Help organize kitchen supplies and inventory to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of food handling practices within a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
