Job Summary

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
  • We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director join the Office of the EVP in Innovation & Technology to lead the Risk Analytics Mandate. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technology risk management and is looking to drive hands-on change. They will be responsible for building up a strong data analytics framework focused on Risk and Compliance reporting and driving strategic initiatives to improve our organization's risk posture.

Job Description

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

This role is designed as an individual contributor position, without team management responsibilities.

Risk Analysis and Reporting:

  • Enhance and streamline IT risk reporting processes to provide accurate and timely insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilizing, Coordinate & Manages data analysis techniques to identify, assess, and quantify potential risks

Communication & Delivery:

  • Identifies and communicates on risk related issues; provides recommendations to ensure that risks are managed, measured, and monitored properly
  • Manages complex and important risk management projects for the Innovation and Technology group for CUSO application [Combined U.S. Operations]

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Stay up to date with changing regulatory requirements, with a particular focus on U.S. regulatory requirements, and adapt internal risk management strategies accordingly
  • Ensure compliance with IT regulatory frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and financial industry standards.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders including IT applications, Global Security, and business teams to ensure consistent and effective risk remediation practices across all applications.
  • Participate in governance committees and provide expert advice on IT risk matters by fostering a culture of risk awareness and accountability within the organization.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Undergraduate degree coupled with IT risk management experience or technology field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills to executive level audience. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
  • Self-driven individual contributor with ability to influence horizontally and partner with key stakeholders.

Nice-to-have:

  • Proven track record in leading IT risk remediation projects, particularly in the context of CUSO applications [Combined U.S. Operations].
  • In-depth knowledge of IT risk assessment methodologies, frameworks, and industry standards.
  • Excellent executive-level consultancy/advisory, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
