The organization supports youth and adults with developmental support needs by delivering residential, social, transitional and employment services. JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as the Director of Community Partnerships, Innovation and Social Enterprise. In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership to a portfolio of community-based programs and social enterprises supporting people with developmental disabilities
- Lead the evolution and growth of our fee-for-service programs in alignment with the Ministry’s Journey to Belonging framework.
- Build and sustain strong community partnerships to drive inclusive and meaningful participation for those we support.
- Ensure high-quality, person-directed services while maintaining compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
REPORTING TO: Chief Executive Officer
HOURS: 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid and Compressed Work Week Opportunities)
STATUS: Full Time (Permanent)
KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND REPSONSIBILITY:
- Develop and create a sustainable social enterprise business model that will drive innovation and growth for CLCY
- Lead and manage the following CLCY program areas: Supported Independent Living, Community Participation Services, Employment, Associate Family and Respite Supports.
- Drive growth and innovation in our fee-for-service models (evening and weekend programming).
- Build, maintain, and expand community partnerships and social enterprises to support meaningful work and participation.
- Develop and implement program evaluation frameworks and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage program budgets, contracts, and performance metrics.
- Represent CLCY at sector networking events and collaborative initiatives across York Region and Ontario.
- Provide effective leadership and mentoring to managers, supporting team development and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with legislative and agency health and safety requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Computer proficiency, including the Microsoft Office suite, fundraising databases, Internet searches, website navigation and social media.
- Comfort in working with C-Suite executives and high net worth individuals
- Master’s degree in clinical, Healthcare, Social Services, Education, Business, or equivalent education/experience.
- Minimum 7 years of senior management experience within the developmental services sector or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building and sustaining community partnerships.
- Proven track record in innovation, program growth, and social enterprise development.
- Strong business acumen in planning, budgeting, and operational leadership within a non-profit, healthcare, or educational setting.
- Knowledge of developmental disabilities, dual diagnosis, and complex specialized needs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including MCCSS, Public Health, York Region, and community partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AIMS, and relevant systems
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 6 months of date of hire)
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
