The Digitization Program Specialist will implement the design framework for the Region’s Digitization-as-a-Service (DaaS) program, supporting a centralized, scalable approach to converting paper-based records into secure and accessible digital formats. This role is critical to the Region’s broader digital transformation and sustainability goals, emphasizing standardized document management practices and change management facilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a unified intake process, including forms, tracking mechanisms, and reporting tools.
- Create procedures for digitizing small to medium volume batches internally.
- Coordinate and manage high-volume digitization projects with internal teams and external vendors.
- Ensure adherence to information management principles including security, accessibility, integrity, and compliance.
- Support adoption of eco-friendly, digital-first business practices across the organization.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint).
- Demonstrated experience with document digitization practices and enterprise content management.
- Proven ability to manage intake workflows and service delivery tracking.
- University or college degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Business, or related field.
- Active membership in the Association for Intelligent Information Management (AIIM), with verifiable involvement.
Mandatory Certifications (All Required):
- Enterprise Content Manager Practitioner (AIIM)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher
- PROSCI Change Management Certification
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:
- Project management and time management experience.
- Certifications:
- Certified Information Professional (CIP)
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP)
- Electronic Records Management Practitioner (AIIM)
