Join Our Established Dental Office in the Heart of Downtown Hamilton!
We are a mature, patient-focused dental practice located in Downtown Hamilton seeking an experienced and professional Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team. If you’re organized, dependable, and have a passion for delivering outstanding patient service, we’d love to meet you.
The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and manage the office schedule efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records using AbelDent software.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding treatments, insurance, and billing with professionalism.
- Collect patient information and verify insurance details prior to appointments.
- Assist in managing office supplies and maintaining a clean, organized front desk area.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.
Experience
- Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of AbelDent dental software is a major asset.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Proactive mindset – you notice what needs to be done and take ownership.
- A true team player with a positive attitude.
- Dental assisting experience is a plus.
Schedule:
- Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:40 AM – 5:00 PM
- Tuesday, Wednesday: 8:40 AM – 6:00 PM
- One Saturday per month: 7:40 AM – 3:00 PM
- Preference for candidates open to occasionally working additional Saturdays
