We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for going between reception and assiting duties, stericenter, room turnover and assisting the dentist. The goal is to find someone who fits in well with our small office of 6 staff. Ideal hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm. NO FRIDAYS, NO EVENINGS, NO WEEKENDS!!!
One dentist and 2 full-time hygienists with 4 operatories. All staff are long term. This dental practice has been in this location for over 45 years! Very pleasant environment for both staff and patients alike.
Duties include:
- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries -Confirm patient‘s upcoming appointments
- Verify insurance information and process payments
- Maintain electronic dental records accurately
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed -Turnover of dentist‘s ops and occasionally hygiene ops -instrument sterilization & keeping the office on time -take accurate radiographs and alginate impressions
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year:
Experience working in a dental office as both an assistant AND receptionist
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
-strong computer skills
- Knowledge of phone systems and office equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
